RIR faced a challenge. Like NASCAR itself, interest from fans was declining. The track needed to improve attendance by expanding their fanbase. Traditionally, their advertising approach was a baritone voice shouting excitedly over B-roll race footage. These commercials for RIR’s spring and fall NASCAR races marked a different approach. They helped improve attendance by reaching out to families, casual fans, and brand new fans. But don’t worry, they will still sell you the whole seat–even though you’ll only need the edge!
